HENRIETTA INMAN is a skilled pastry chef and owner of Henrietta Inman Pâtissière and Hen's Clean Cakes. I took a professional patisserie course while doing an apprenticeship in the pastry kitchen at The Lanesborough hotel in London.One issue is that may of the ingredients are specialized and costly without making a really health improvement. Basic recipes on nut butter, nut milk and pastry lead the way into the main part of the book – the recipes. the recipes are easy to follow and the ones I have tried so far have all turn out beautifully, I am working my way through the book as it is so hard to decide which to do first as they are all so tempting.
To make the most of the health benefits from nuts, seeds and grains, Henrietta also explains how to soak and activate / dehydrate.Henrietta is the author of Clean Cakes and The Natural Baker: A New Way to Bake Using the Best Natural Ingredients (published March 2018). I grew up using either butter or marg, self-raising or plain flour, so this is certainly a horizon expander in terms of ingredients. I was able to make bars and chocolate, the tarts look amazing and i will start making the upcoming months. Soak the cashew nuts in 500 ml (17 fl oz/2⅛ cup) of filtered water and 1 tsp of Himalayan pink salt for 3–4 hours. It is delicious as it is, or you can adapt it by adding your preferred natural sweetener or other flavourings such as vanilla.
