The transition from the opening to the dry-down is relatively linear, the opening notes continue into the dry-down enhanced by the various notes included in this fragrance. Curve for Men is alright but at least it is at discount pricing so you don’t sink far too much into a fragrance that has its issues and limitations. I have bought one bottle that was amazing, one that was soapy, and one that almost smelled like the good bottle went bad.

I will agree with most on here and say that it's a great "first date, first cologne ever" for that boy in middle school or high school. Next day at school i was chased by all the little cuties in my class asking me what soap i used or what deodorant i was wearing and i told them i was wearing a cologne. Anyhow… this stuff just takes you back to wherever you were at in life in the late ‘90s and early 2000’s. I am also curious to see if maybe the 200 ml bottles are just weaker in reference to one reviewer saying different bottles smell dissimilar. And Curve Black has finally completed the circle to become a mature scent exactly at the time I became an older man.

It’s not macho or overpowering like some other youth orientales fragrances, like I said after that initial harshness dies down it becomes palatable.

Fahrenheit style scents don't really work in an upscale setting, nor does any Curve as they seem a little cheap and this comes from someone who likes a number of fragrances in the line.
